What is a good & inexpensive life insurance, medical insurance & dental insurance?

I work for a company that doesnt supply any of this. So I need to come up with this on my own, hence the inexpensive part. I am a husband %26amp; father of 3 so I would like to make sure they are well taken care of just incase. I would also like a good insurance for us.

What is a good %26amp; inexpensive life insurance, medical insurance %26amp; dental insurance?
This depends on the state you are in. One of the better on-line vendors for medical ins. is ehealthinsurance.com. I would do research using them, and then contact a local agent who can help you.

Generally pick a high deductible medical plan, such as a Health Saving Account qualified medical plan. This will also save you big time on your taxes. Unless someone in the family is REALLY, REALLY sick, you are always better with a high deductible. Shop for your small dollar medical visits, split pills, use drugstore.com and you will save big.

On life insurance, choose at least $100k, but I would go higher with three kids. Dental can be a waste of money for individuals, but there are a very, very few good plans out there in SOME states. Ask your health agent.

Disability insurance is probably the most important coverage you can have, besides medical. Buy some, unless you are wealthy enough to get by without your income for at least a year.
Reply:Private dental insurance is so costly that it usually doesn't make sense to buy it. A good, affordable alternative is a dental discount plan. While not insurance, it does provide steep discounts at the dentists. Go to http://www.lowpriceddentalplans.com to see which plans are available for your zip code.
