Any EXPATS in BKK willing to show me around????

GREETINGS FROM TORONTO,





I'm travelling to BKK next month, arriving the morning of NOVEMBER 9TH. I'm just wondering if there might be any EXPATS who would be willing to take me "under their wing" and show me around the city.





I'm coming for some dental work and also to distribute about 20 boxes of toys and school supplies that have been donated to me by Canadian companies. I'm hoping the Canadian Embassy will help me by receiving the shipment and directing me to a worthy school or orphanage.





As far as me and my interests, I'm 43, single, somewhat athletic (not a "jock") and in reasonably good shape. I love ANYTHING to do with the water (sailing, SCUBA, snorkelling, fishing, etc.) and basically just need someone to show me where to go and what to AVOID.





As far as some form of compensation goes, I'd be happy to pick up anything you need from over here and bring it with me or perhaps entertain you if you come to TORONTO.

You will probably have better luck in finding someone to show you around at http://www.couchsurfing.org/ . This website connects travelers with people all around the world who are willing to put you up in their place for a couple nights and/or meet you in town to show you around and give you the local's perspective . A quick search just now showed about 300 couchsurfing hosts in Bangkok. From the main page just click on CouchSearch and enter your search criteria. Good luck and happy travels!

for your next trip try cebu in the philippines and i will show you around.....and its cheaper
