Am i getting a dog?

I am twelve years old and have had a dog my whole life up until last August. Just now, i found a bunch of dog supplies(training pads, brush, collar, food, treats, bed, dental bone things) in my parents room. They said we are going somewhere special tonight. Do you think im gonna get a dog?
